Making Progress

Okay, so things have been going pretty slow up until about now. I just recently was able to buy an external hard drive to install Ubuntu on so I can get started on it.

So far, I've made little software progress, but I have made some discoveries with the PSX emulator. Believe me when I say, you'll be surprised.

Dingubutu

Dingubuntu will be a Linux distro based on Ubuntu, and is due to be released late this year.

It will be able to run on the Dingoo A320, the Gemei, and later on, the GP2X WiZ and the lovely Pandora. It will be able to run all the essential emulators; GBA, NES, SNES, Sega MD, Neo-Geo, and pretty much any 8-16 bit console. I will also attempt to make a PSX emulator for it - My hopes are high, but it may not be possible. Later in the development, there will also probably be Atari emulators as well.

The reason I'm making this is mostly so that I can better create applications for it. Sure, I can just use Dingux, but Dingubuntu will hopefully be a more flexible OS. The other major part is to help the handheld community by releasing it.

Dingubuntu is currently in it's VERY early stages. More info will be posted as more info becomes available.
